The purpose of this poster is to highlight the rate of suicides by guns in the United States. When taking on this topic, I knew it would be tough. I wondered how I could portray such tragedy through just a poster. I decided the best way to do that was to actually represent each life that was lost. Each bullet on the poster represents a dozen people lives lost to suicide by gun. There are 506 bullets, which adds up to 6,072 people. This was as of April 2nd, only 92 days into 2023. Sadly, these numbers are increasing daily.
